This is a Groundswell experiment. New for 2010. Your vote recommends a post to visitors who come along later, or to yourself on later visits. Results are on the right, under Most Recommended, showing the 60 posts with the most votes.
Caution: What do you suppose happens if you only read recommended posts? If only recommended posts get recommended? Yes, that screech that came through the speakers at school, when the mike picked up speaker sound and sent it through to the speakers again.
